How the league works
- One commissioner per town. Each town runs its own program — Mineola's is the Mineola Little Dribblers — and sends one representative to the league. There is no central office; the commissioners run it together.
- Six divisions. Teams are grouped by grade and by boys / girls so kids play kids their own age.
- Saturday games in local gyms. Every town hosts. Find every gym, with directions, on the Gyms page.
- Scores and standings, every week. Commissioners post scores after the games; standings update on their own.
What it is for
The sole purpose of this league is to get kids ready for middle-school basketball. It is not a league for coaches to chase rings. Equal playing time, fundamentals, and sportsmanship come before the scoreboard.
Get involved
Every game needs a clock, a scorebook and a snack bar. Parents can sign up for a game-day job in about a minute — no account needed.
